About Me

I’m Trent with Palouse Water Pros.

I used to be a general contractor who did a lot of plumbing. When a customer asked me to install a water filtration system, I researched all the options — even in a big market like Orange County — and I wasn’t satisfied with what was out there. So I took the time to learn and build what I thought was the best solution for them.

That one job turned into many more. I realized I loved solving real water problems the right way.

That’s how Palouse Water Pros was born.

“It feels good to take someone who’s been frustrated with their water for years and finally give them water they actually enjoy.”

I enjoy helping people who are tired of dealing with bad water, and I love getting called in early on new builds so they never have to deal with bad water in the first place.

Services

Built for Palouse water — hard, iron-heavy, and worth fixing.

Water Softeners & Hard Water

Hard water is very common in the Palouse. I design and install water softeners that effectively protect your appliances, fixtures, skin, and hair.

Whole House Filtration

For both city water and well water, I build whole-house systems that deliver cleaner, better-tasting water throughout your home.

Iron Removal & Challenging Well Water

The Palouse has tough well water, especially high iron. I build reliable iron removal systems that actually work — and help you sort through the confusing, often ineffective options online. Read my Palouse well water guide →

Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water

Under-sink reverse osmosis systems tailored to your water, so you have pure, great-tasting drinking and cooking water.

High-quality on-site water testing, right in front of you — so we clearly understand your water before making decisions. Not sure what’s wrong? Take the 2-minute water quiz →

New Construction & Custom Design

I enjoy being brought in early on new builds and remodels. We’ll plan water quality at every fixture and the utility space, so you start with great water from day one.

FAQ

Common questions

What’s the difference between you and the bigger water companies?

I focus on thoughtful system design, clean installations, and honest recommendations tailored to your specific situation and budget. My approach is low-pressure and personal.

How do I know if I have hard water or other water problems?

Common signs include spots on dishes, dry skin and hair, appliance scale, or unpleasant taste or smell. I’ll test your water on-site during the visit.

Do you work on well water and city water?

Yes — both. I have extensive experience with challenging well water (especially high iron) and city water treatment.

How long does the process usually take?

Every job is different, so I give you an honest timeline for your specific situation after the site visit. Complex water or lab testing can add time — I’d rather tell you that up front than surprise you later.

Do you offer water testing?

Yes. I do high-quality on-site testing right in front of you.

Do I need a whole house system or just drinking water?

It depends on your goals. I’ll walk you through practical options so you can choose what makes the most sense.

What if I’m building a new home?

I enjoy being brought in early to help plan the water system properly.
